Keep an eye out for my review on both Girl on a String and Right Next Door later today!

Aside from sharing my regular reviews I wanted to add a little more about Leah Montgomery. It's not very often that you come across an author who completely changes the game on you....in a good way!

When I find a book I love, I usually search for any other work that may have been published by the same author and in this case, when I finished Right Next Door I found Girl on a String and dove right in without even looking at another title.

Right Next Door was one of those reads that you go into with questions and end with the all the answers but in no way are they what you imagined. She somehow takes the story and develops it in a way where the characters are larger than life and anything is possible. Just when you think you've cracked the case, you're blindsided by the realization that you were so wrong and totally off-base.

In both books I felt a kinship with the protagonist and loved their progression through the story. You develop hope for them, wanting to see them succeed and come out on top even when the worst is revealed.

Leah is now definitely on the top of my favorite author list and I can't wait for her next book. There's very few authors that I've read that can tie in all the details while keeping you completely in the dark until she's ready to share them.

Leah Montgomery delivers a wonderful debut with Girl On A String. This is a story of a woman who has had her entire life controlled and what finally happens when she no longer wants to be controlled. It’s addictive and engaging and nearly impossible to put down.
