"This is a well-plotted cozy mystery, and you do a great job casting plausible suspicion on all of the main characters so that the big reveal during the climax is satisfyingly unexpected and exciting." -Amazon Kindle Scout Editorial Review 2018
My Review
Thanks to Netgalley, Raven McKray and BooksGoSocial, I was able to read the ARC of this book prior to release day and being that it's the first in the series, I was eager to see what this mystery was all about in hopes I'd have a new series on my hands just in time for the chilly weather.
I wasn't disappointed at all! With a little added romance this mystery gave me all the feels! Written like the classic crime novel of who-dun-it, I not only liked the characters but became part of the story wanting to get out my magnifying glass like Sherlock to help solve the mystery.
I'm excited for what's next for Maddie and can't wait to see what Raven has got in store for us!
